Diana joins our Board with extensive experience in the affordable housing arena. She developed and participated in an Affordable Housing Committee in the mid 70's through 1984 while serving on the Martinez City Council. With HUD and Housing partners, she developed below market rate rental and owner occupied housing. From 1984 to 1994 as Administrative Assistant to Contra Costa County Supervisor Nancy Fahden, she advocated for and was involved in the development of affordable housing. Currently Diana is working with Casa de la Cultura in our community to provide after school and summer music and culture classes for elementary school children in Calistoga. She was one of the main organizers of the Calistoga Art Center and more recently served as president and was also involved in organizing the ongoing children's after school and summer art program through the Art Center.

She came to CAH from Napa Valley Community Housing where she was a Project Manager responsible for a 28-Unit Apartment Development. Prior to completing a Masters Degree in Community Planning and Certificate in Preservation from the
A 4-year resident of Calistoga, Ruth is
married to Arturo Rodriguez and has 5 children. Originally from
Guadalajara, Jalisco, Ruth is a founding board member of Casa de la
Cultura, a local organization that works with the
Calistoga
Art
Center to provide music and dance classes to Calistoga students after
school. She also shares her talents as a board member for the
Calistoga
Art
Center.
