The new president of Calistoga Affordable Housing (CAH) is a man who likes working behind the scenes – but that doesn’t mean he’s afraid of shaking things up. Larry Kromann, stepping into the spot vacated by a retiring Bob Fiddaman, says without hesitation, “I am an ‘out of the box’ thinker. And I’ve been called an ‘extreme change agent.’”

Calistoga Affordable Housing, the local non-profit that has helped build 50 housing units since 2001, is launching a new program to help different segments of the city’s population spruce up their properties.
The focus of “Rebuilding Calistoga” in this, its inaugural year, will be disabled and elderly homeowners who, for whatever reasons, haven’t been able to repair or maintain their homes, said CAH Board of Directors president Larry Kromann

Elderly and disabled homeowners in Calistoga may now apply for a program in which their homes will be repaired or refurbished free of charge.Applications for Calistoga Affordable Housing’s “Rebuilding Calistoga” program are available at Calistoga City Hall, the Calistoga Chamber of Commerce, the nonprofit’s Lincoln Avenue office and on its Web site.
